Titanic, Dare to Discover Walkthru

Written By Wendy McElroy

Use the online help for the game, located in the games Help, Game Help Menu.
Select Titanic Tips and then read all information, esp. the help on The Writing.
I wrote the entire alphabet and symbols on a seperate piece of paper, so you
can read and write down what all the symbols stand for. All writing is listed at
the end of this walkthru. I have listed some of the help files here.

Save your game often!

The Brown Labyrinth

The brown labyrinth has six entrances.
It's easy to navigate the brown labyrinth if you posses the plan. You can find the plan at the bell tower.
There is a crystal in the middle of the brown labyrinth. You will need it to illuminate the red labyrinth.

You start out the game by going straight, turning right, then going straight and entering the Brown Labrinth. Turn right, go forward 3, turn left, go forward3, turn left, forward 1, turn left, forward 1, turn right, forward 1, turn right, foward 1, turn left, forward 1, turn right, forward 1, turn right, forward 1, turn right forward 1, turn right and enter room with green crystal. Use any exit to leave.

The "Cube "Puzzle

Must be solved before entering the Green Labyrinth.
The building for this puzzle is located across from the Church. It is the building with the glass doors, enter the building and go straight towars the wall, click on the wall, the sulution is as follows :
#6 at bottom to left once
#3 at top to right twice
#7 at bottom to left once.
This will open the Green Labyrinth.

The Green Labyrinth

Once in the room, Forward 8 times, Right 1 time, Forward 1 time
Finally, insert the crystal. Reverse all steps to exit.

The Current Puzzle
The current puzzle must be solved to pass through to the red labyrinth. The same lever opens both the entrance (top) and the exit (bottom) of the passage.
You can use the crowbar to break through a wall in a building near the bell tower.
The Crow Bar is located in the building to the left of the building with the Big Brown Wooden door. Turn left at the big Brown Door and you will see a building with part of a ladder showing, go straight into this building and click on the crow bar.

The Red Labyrinth

The entrance to the red Labyrinth is located in the bell tower, but before entering the red labyrinth, go to the cemetry and get the stones and the sceptor. You can walk through the red labyrinth without light, but it's dangerous.
When the crystal from the brown labyrinth is placed into the depression in the green labyrinth, the red labyrinth will be lit.

Solve the "current" puzzle in order to open the exit.
Pay attention to the direction signs at the lower left of your screen.
Beyond this labyrinth lies the wreck of the Titanic! and the Stone puzzle.
This is where I was halted .. I walked around forever before I finally figured the game out!

The building that has the Current Puzzle is to the right of the Bell tower.
The sulution for this puzzle is as follows:
Move the levers up, down, down, up, then move the 2nd lever up.
When you correctly finish this puzzle, you will see the blue screen swirl.

The Cemetery

There are two graves that you can open in the cemetery.
One of the graves contains the scepter, which you will use in the church. You must place this with one of the statues inside the church.
The other grave contains the stones, which you will need to solve the stone puzzle.
Beware! When you open the graves, the guardians will be released!
Don't let them catch you! If you are caught once, a green figure will appear but you will be able to continue the game with all your possessions.
If you are caught a second time, a red figure will appear and you will have to start the game over from the beginning. So save your game often!

The scepter

A scepter is staff that is held as a symbol of authority. When you've properly placed the scepter, you'll find a slab inside the church with highlighted signs.

Now you can go back into to the bell tower and turn left, walk straight to the wall, break the wall with the crow bar, like you did for the current puzzle. Click on the wall and enter the Red Labrinth. Go straight, turn left, go straight, turn right, go straight, turn left, go straight, turn right, go straight, turn
right, go straight twice, turn left, go straight, turn right, go straight, turn right, go straight twice, turn left, and go straight and click on the door to the exit of the red labyrinth, and into the wreck of the Titanic.

The Wreck

Go straight 3 times, turn to the right twice, go straight twice and you will reach the Stone Puzzle. Click on the wall with a stone rectangle, and place the stones as follows

The stones must be placed into the depression in the right order
Place the stones in the reverse order left to right,
first stone to 4th position
second stone to 3rd position
third stone to second position
fourth stone to first position
(first position is on the left)
Now you may turn all of the stones around so that the image of the constellation is correct.

From here, go right, forward, left, forward and you will find the alphabet puzzle.

The Alphabet Puzzle
Press the Buttons that you saw at the Church, after placing the sceptor.
V E G A.

V the four diamonds in diamond pattern
E the M looking symbol
G the weird N looking symbol with an o on it
A the 69 symbol - like the horoscope Cancer symbol)
The final sequence of the game is then started.
Note: this puzzle should be the last thing you do.

The Cryptic writing on all/most of the walls is as follows:

In the building with the big brown wooden door avoid the darkness the guardian of the gate will annihilate you.

The stranger is blended by the writing the seer will find the man who recognizes the richness of the colours will see.
